Hello family and friends,
My name is Brittany Lofton and I am a 30 year old mother of 1. I currently work as a freelance artist, outside of my fulltime job as a social worker. As long as I could remember my mom would tell me that I have a gift and that I should go to school for it but it was never a passion for me, only a hobby. I never wanted to expand my hobby because it was my place of peace. Growing up and having to face adversity after adversity, art became my outlet. I never wanted to take that away because it meant so much to me. After all the years of painting, drawing and sketching; I now realize that my art serves a bigger purpose. Though I am still growing and expanding I look forward to sharing my gift with others. My goal is to open a gallery where I can showcase that gift. Doing something to this extreme has been a huge leap for me and right now I am stepping out on faith and believing that God will provide where there is a need. There are so many people who ask about my art and yet I do not have all the supplies or time that I would need. This fundraiser would allow me to step back from other “jobs” and focus on my daughter (inspiration) and my purpose (Art). It would also help with my website, products, supplies and some marketing material. If my art has ever blessed you in anyway, or if you think it’s worth bringing to the world I ask that you kindly consider donating.
