This is William. He is an amazing and wonderful 6-year-old boy who was diagnosed last summer with Medulloblastoma, a fast-growing, cancerous tumor in his brain. After undergoing surgery, he endured 10 months of radiation and chemotherapy which concluded in May, 2016. But in late July he was diagnosed with a recurrence, and the cancer has now spread to his spinal cord. He is currently hospitalized and again receiving intensive chemotherapy.

William’s mom and dad, Margaret and Jim, are loving, devoted parents. They are both high school teachers. Margaret took time off from work last year to be with William during treatment, and now the family is facing another year without her income as she accompanies William through his therapies, hospital stays, and potential clinical trials. We are asking for assistance so that Margaret can continue to be with William without fear of crippling debt. Financial contributions will be applied towards medical bills, household finances, childcare for William’s brother and sister, and possible costs associated with travel to and from drug trials.
