Help fight Steve's Battle w/Cancer

As most of you know by now there are many things going on in our lives. We are trying to get through each day with hope and faith that the outcome is what we have been praying for. Many also know that my brother, sister and I lost our biological father at the ages of 8, 9 & 10..
Our step-dad Steve has been dad to us for the past 21 years and was recently diagnosed with late stage liver cancer and given limited time, unless he is a lucky one and can get a liver transplant. There is just no words that can describe the pain we feel. Our family has been through so much and I am hoping my Sister Jackie, little brother Stevie and sister Erica don’t have to experience what we once did. I am not to sure I can survive losing another dad.
My mother is the strongest person i know and despite the situation she always is there helping and picking up the pieces. My mom is a caretaker by heart she has reached out and helped so many. I am hoping that everyone agrees it’s our turn to help her.
Meanwhile, Steve’s first procedure went terribly wrong and he ended up in the hospital for 8 days undergoing a major surgery to repair an artery, contracted an infection, and much more. These complications have put Steve out of work for the next 6 weeks, this was not expected to happen. Then came last night where 911 was called and Steve was taken to the hospital yet again, for more complications. He is now being admitted a 2nd time and will undergo another emergency surgery in the next 24 hours putting him out of work even longer.
Not sure how much more my mom can take she is so overwhelmed trying to manage her business working with foster kids, cleaning, paying bills, cooking, getting Steve to appt & still staying strong for us kids. Just yesterday she mentioned getting a 2nd job to help with medical expenses.
Cancer comes at such cost emotionally I hope to help ease the financial burden. All funds will go towards medical, gas, & living expenses. Please help our family fight this battle with everything we have. We are blessed to have support from great family & friends. If money is not something you can help with but want to help a meal, housekeeping or a prayer are other ways you can help.
