Quality Employee 2016 Flood Fund

My name is Mike Price and along with Jeff Poche we own Quality Concrete Group located in Baton Rouge, LA and the surrounding areas. We have facilities in every area affected by the recent flooding which means we have employees in every area affected. While most people in our area have been impacted by the flood of 2016 in Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas, none mean more to Jeff and I than 53 employees we work with and who take care of us on a daily basis. We are truly one family taking care of eachother. Most of our employees have lost every possession they have but luckily are now safe. I have never used gofundme before but have sent money on numerous occasions for other disaster victims. 
It is my hope that whatever money is raised will help these wonderful family members that Jeff and I care for so much to get back on their feet. Desperation is a terrible feeling that most will experience in their lives, but it is my hope that these funds will make everything a little easier on everyone affected by the flood but especially the young family members of our employees that really don't know what is going on at this time while living in a shelter. Our employees are meeting today to make a list of the things they need to keep going and this money will be used for those employees that have nothing left and are not sure where to turn. Prescriptions, food, diapers, housing, transportation, clothes are all gone and will need to be replaced. These donations will make this possible over the next few months while they recover.
