This is Associate Pastor Jarrod Lamberth with First Baptist Church in Gonzales, Louisiana.  We are raising money for the flood victims in Ascension Parish.  Our Parish has over 15,000 homes and businesses flooded. About 15 of our church families (and counting) have taken floodwater in their homes, and many more have been forced to evacuate. 

We will use these funds for flood victims, both for our members and others in our area. We are assisting in cleaning out and repairing homes, buying families needed replacement clothes and supplies, food, etc. We are also going to be hosting out-of-state recovery teams at our church and will need to house, and feed them. I will personally be withdrawing the funds and depositing them in our church account. We are tracking the expenses and will be able to provide an account of how we spend donations. Again, every penny we receive from GoFundMe will be used for hurting families in the flood.

We are already working on these needs but anything you can give would be an enormous help and will go directly to the relief effort.
