I'm Daniel Brown. My best friend and his family's house were flooded like so many others in this catastrophic flood earlier this week. He did not have flood insurance due to living in a no flood zone. The area has never flooded like this before. He thought he had hope after reading that FEMA would be giving grants out that were publicized falsely. It was stated they would give out up to $30k but then it was later shown days after that the average grant is around $8k. He had over a foot of water in his house and $8k isn't even enough to cover the cabinets or furniture that he's lost. Please donate whatever you can.
