Running to support Nancy Just
Donation protected
Nancy's a spunky, funny lover of Jesus. She has a strong husband, Glen, and four fun kids ranging from 5 years old to 12. Nancy was diagnosed with stage four cancer a few weeks ago, and they're trying to make the most of the time they have together, while asking God for a miracle.
Let's rally around their family and raise some cash to help their family of six take a vacation together, or have a rockin' stay-cation.
I'm running my first ever race a week from Sunday (September 11th) in Paris. This race, La Parisienne, is the largest women's race in Western Europe. Many women run for a cause or help their friends "run" a race they could never run themselves. You'll see six women wheeling their wheel-chair ridden friend through the race on charroit-like carts. The strength of these women is so beautiful. Nancy's sister, Karen Hertz, sang with her gospel choir along the race route last year to encourage the runners. Now it's our turn to encourage Karen and her family.
I want to run for Nancy and I want you to run with me. I challenge you to give $67. Why? The race is 6.7 kilometers, so that's like giving $10/km. It will only take 38 peole and we'll be at our goal of $2500! Let's do this! Give now and let's send Nancy and her family on a vacation to remember!
If you want to give in euros, you can send me a check and I'll send it on to them. 100% of proceeds go to Nancy and her family.

Nancy and Glen are honored that we would run for them and bless them in this specific way. As you can imagine, their medical expenses will be very significant. They will be sharing how you can contribute to that need soon.
