Lost home from the Blue Cut Fire

On August 16, 2016, my aunt's family suffered a devastating tragedy from a rapidly burning brush fire that broke out near Phelan, CA and unfortunately lost their home. They were told to evacuate immediately, and didn't have enough time to gather anything. At the time of the evacuation, her two kids (ages 10 and 11), were helplessly waiting at school to be picked up by their mother, leaving only one person at home to grab any animals that hadn't run away already and personal belongings. Once the kids were picked up, the road had been blocked not allowing them to go back home to help gather anything. The kid's went to school today without knowing it would be the last time they would see their home, their belongings, or family pets. We never imagined we would have lost a lifetime of memories in a blink of an eye. As a family we are at a complete loss. Our animals, home, vehicles are all gone. There aren't enough words to describe how it feels to have everything ripped away and even worse the animals that we weren't able to catch and evacuate them.

We aren't the type of people to ever ask for anything, but in this time of devastation we have no where else to turn. All we can ask of you is for any donations that will help rebuild our lives and help them find comfort in this tragedy. A repost will even help, in the hopes that we can be reunited with our pets. Please just pray for us. We all would appreciate any good thoughts our way.
