Broken Bones not Broken Dreams.

While traveling cross-country to restart our lives, the unthinkable happened. I fell and broke my ankle.

Went to the ER and got a temporary cast. They said that they wouldn't do the bone setting surgery because we we weren't going to be around for the follow up care that is necessary.

So right now I'm laying in a cheap hotel room in terrible pain. Trying to get to Colorado where my husband has job interviews set up. Trying to find a way to get the surgery I need to set the 3 Broken Bones in my Ankle. The E.R. staff told me that I only have a week in which I can do the surgery before there is irreversible damage, and then I won't be able to walk again. And while all this is happening, I have to get my 15 year-old son registered and ready for school which starts in two weeks.

I'm really trying to keep it all together. I'm not winning this battle.

We don't have any insurance.
We don't have a place to live while I'm recuperating after the surgery.
We need some help.
