On 8/15/2016 my friend Robert (Robbie) Hoke died because of a traggic work accident.
Robbie spent the last 15 years as a union roofer and decided on a career change. Roughly 4 months ago he started a new career as a union labor in local #110 for Concrete Strategies. He loved the work and change of pace, and had started construction on his dream earth home. Robbie was a big time family man constantly turning down overtime at work to spend time with his children.
He was also a motor head that loved Harley's to the point he customized his with a side car to bring his kids along for the ride. He also loved offroading his classic jeep and spending time with his kids on 4 Wheeler's.
Robbie leaves his wife Tara, a son Caden 8, and his little girl Chloee 4. Any and all donations will be Directly given to the family to use as needed.
Robbie was a do-it-yourselfer. And was in the process of building his dream home. All the labor was done by him. And without him the home will stay in limbo with construction loans looming. Donations to help keep the construction loans alive until other arrangements can be made will be much appreciated.
The loss of a family member is always horrible. But the loss of a Father, Husband and breadwinner with such a young family is down right catastrophic. Donations will never bring this family peace again. But if we can take some of the financial stress away from this family in such bad times, And show this family that they are not alone it would be a huge help to a family torn in pieces.
