On Tuesday, April 2, the Davis Family lost their home and everything they owned to a house fire. Susan Davis is a long time resident of Kennebunk and both her sons attended Kennebunk schools. The fire started in the kitchen and spread throughout the home very rapidly. Only one son was home at the time, he suffered 3rd degree burns on his foot, but thankfully survived the blaze. 

The only belongings they have are the clothes they were wearing and their vehicle. The home appears to be a total loss.

It is unclear at this time if insurance will cover the costs to rebuild. The Red Cross has stepped in to help them temporarily but as time goes on they will have to rebuild their entire lives. 

The Davis family lives on a very limited income. All three members of the family have battled health issues for many years and continue to at this time. Please consider donating to this family in need. They have been overwhelmed by this tragic event and are unsure of their future.
