My name is Maricela and I have been diagnosed with lymphatic  breast cancer. I have worked and continue to work as a Bilingual Instructional Assistant for South Bay Union School District.
I am one of the lucky ones in that they were able to catch my breast cancer at an early stage. I have already been through many sessions of chemotherapy and the aftermath of those sessions.
I am now getting ready for surgery that will remove the cancer in my breast and will also remove some glands. After  surgery I will have radiation therapy for about 6 months and then I will have a round of hormone therapy.  I know that I am in God's hands and everything will turn out well! I am very postive and have everyone around me cheering me on.
I am hoping to raise this money to help me with the exorbitant cost of the treatments that I have had and will continue to have after surgery. The amount of bills pouring in are overwhelming and out of our abilities to pay.
 I am reaching out to my friends and co-workers to help me though this time of need.
