Family Flood Fund

Hi guys! It is me, Jessalyn Thornton from Greenwell Springs, Louisiana.  You know that I don't like doing this, but you all asked me to do it, so I did. My small family of 4 (me, my husband - Dave, our 7 year old son, Carson and our 1 year old daughter, Claire) lost our home and everything in it, even my car to a tragic flash flood in South Louisiana on 08/13/2016. We had over 4 feet of water in our home, we lost all of our furniture, clothes, electronics, appliances - literally everything.  We didn't have much to begin with, we have never lived outlandish lifestyles, but what we had was our's and we were proud of it. My husband and I have missed a lot work because of this tragedy, therefore we are not being paid, but bills don't stop coming in. Anything would help. We will be using the donated money to pay our bills that have been adding up while we were out of work and any left over from bills, we will use to start buying things to try to replace everything we lost.  I love you guys, and thank you so very much for your help. ❤
