Teri Hayward's Recovery Fund
Donation protected
My name is Ray, and I am starting this fund for my sister Teri Hayward. In June Teri had a seizure which ultimately led to her heart stopping. Only after 40 minutes of CPR and multiple shocks did her heart start beating on its own.
The picture the doctors painted in the immediate hours to follow was grim, but ever since that first day Teri has impressed the doctors and her family with her perseverance to improve daily.
Teri still has some long term challenges to overcome. The brain damage she suffered has left her with long and short term memory loss. Her decision making has also been affected, so she needs to have a caregiver with her while her husband is at work. She will need to continue therapy to improve her motor skills with the ultimate goal to get her safely walking on her own again.
Any contribution of any amount would be greatly appreciated and go directly to help Teri make the best recovery possible.
Thank you, Ray.
