About a week ago my Mom, Janie Tandberg was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer. The doctors have told us that the cancer has spread to her liver and spleen as well. From what we are hearing, this is one of the most painful cancers out there. Our options are limited because the doctors say that since it has spread to other organs, they do not think that chemo will shrink it enough to remove it.
MOM HAS CHOSEN TO FIGHT!!
Next week we meet with the oncologist again and we will be telling him that she will do the chemotherapy. We do not know how much more time this will give her but we are looking at holistic approaches as well. Many parts of this fight are not covered by insurance and we need help to cover the cost of pain management and treatment.
I would be so greatful for any help. Please help us if you can.
