Hawkins Family Flood Restoration

We are Allan and Ruth Moore and have been close friends for over 20 years with JOE AND LEA HAWKINS WHOSE HOME HAS BEEN FLOODED.
Joe and Lea have been a pillar in the Maurice and Lafayette community for over 30 years. Lea has worked with the crisis pregnancy center, Catholic diocese, and the Come Lord Jesus program, continually helping to better the lives of many in Acadiana. Joe has enjoyed a wonderful career in the oil patch. He is also passionate about his service in the church and continually supports the work of the ministry both financially and spiritually. Like many in the area, they have experienced the tragedy of their home flooding in this most recent historic rain fall in South Louisiana. Living in their current home for the past 27 years, that has never been deemed a flood zone, they did not have flood insurance. Family and friends have banned together in the days insueing the flood waters receding, assisting with the removal and demolition of furniture, clothes, floors, walls, wet insulation, etc. Please join us in funding the necessary labor, materials, and other needs to restore this precious family's home AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
