Louisiana Flood 2016 Assistance

Hi everyone!  My name is Kerri McIlvenna, formerly known as Kerri Fabian.  Due to the recent flood disaster in Louisiana, my husband Kerry and I have lost our home and 90% of our furniture and personal belongings in Walker, Louisiana.  A number of my friends from Pennsylvania and here in Louisiana have asked I post a GoFundMe Page.  I have been torn the past couple of days as to whether or not to start an account.  With a heavy heart, I believe my husband and I have no choice.  Five and a half weeks ago, he was forced into an early retirement, and I am the only one working in our household.  At the end of September though, I will have to take four weeks off work for a total hysterectomy.  Regarding the flood, we do have insurance and hopefully our house will be repaired within the next several months.  However, the flood insurance will not cover any of our living expenses for the time being and personal contents to include furniture in the home. Your donations will be used to getting us back on our feet to include temporary housing and living expenses in the months to come, as we are praying to not be separated from one another during this difficult time in both of our lives.  Thank you all from the bottom of both of our hearts, and anyone who truly knows me will definitely know how difficult it was for me to begin this account.
