Adam Curtis support for medical and living expenses:
Adam was seriously injured on July 30th while in Ionia when his right leg was pinned between a backhoe bucket and a trailer. He was transported by ambulance to Grand Rapids, where he remains at this time. He underwent emergency surgery to repair a severed artery in his leg and has multiple medical teams working with him in an attempt to save his leg. For now, he is stabilized but he has suffered extensive bone, nerve, muscle, and tendon and ligament damage. He is an extreme amount of pain still but has a very positive attitude. The long term effects are unknown at this time and he will still have to undergo multiple surgeries and many months of rehabilitation.
Our goal here is to provide some financial support for Adam, Amy and the girls so they can focus on what is important - his healing and being together again as a family. There will be mounting medical bills, co-pays and day to day living expenses that will be accumulating while he is unable to work. Amy also is not working at this time and has been by his side every day in Grand Rapids.
The outreach of support and prayers has been tremendous and they want to thank everyone. We will continue to keep everyone updated on his progress and thank you all for everything.
