On August 11th, Eric Leavitt was involved in a motor cycle accident. He is currently in the capable hands of many specialist teams at Harborview Medical Center with extensive injuries. We do expect Eric to make a full recovery so he can return to his normal life but this will take a lot of time, many surgeries and much intesive therapy. Eric is an avid hiker and climber, a passion he shares with his beloved daughter Morgan. The skills they have developed together will no doubt motivate his healing process. Eric is also a tug boat operator for Island Tug & Barge spending weeks at a time on the water traveling throughout the puget sound, a job he loves. For Eric to get back to his beautiful life he will need all the love and prayers he can get, they will be paramount in his healing. Already so early in the process of rebuilding his body and his life much of the insuarance has been depleted. Medical bills continue to mount and there will be extensive costs of rehabilitaion. Eric has always been a giver, never expecting anything in return, now he is in need of all the help he can get. Any help will be received with undying love and gratitude.
