For those who know Blake and Catherine Putnam, you know they have been blessed with a real fighter. Bruce was born 14 weeks early. He has had several surgeries and beaten incredible odds.

Baby Bruce is finally home from the hospital after almost 6 months. Mom and Dad are happy to have him home. They are doing great so far, managing with all the extra care that he needs. Bruce was discharged home with tube feeding and a central line, which are part of the ways he receives his nutrition. Catherine is now a stay at home mom to care for Bruce.  Blake exhausted  all his vacation time soon after Bruce was born, staying at the hospital. He now has had to take more time off to help get everything situated at home  with all the extra care Bruce needs. Bruce will have many, many doctor appointments, which Blake will also have to take time off from work for. He has to travel to Charlotte for some of his treatments. He requires special formula as well.  All of these things are adding up quickly.
