In memory of my brother, Yvello Seballos, who died of an aortic dissection on August 1st. Friends and family wanted to set up a memorial fund in his honor.
Yvello was a wonderful father to his children, a kind friend to those who knew him, and a generous soul who will always be remembered by those whose lives he touched. He was a loving husband who married his high school sweetheart, soulmate, and best friend, Patty. They were together for 20 years and had many more dreams ahead of them.
His life was cut short by an aortic dissection that led to a heart attack and ultimately organ failure. This tragic event showed no symptoms, came quickly, and within days after heart surgery at Fairfax Hospital under the care of cardiovascular surgeons, Yvello was gone. The medical team did their best but he could not recover. He was only 38 years old.
