Violin Tour

I am Autumn Hayes. I have been a violinist for about 3 years. Violin is the biggest thing in my life! I play in the beginner and intermediate levels in the St. Charles County Youth Orchestra and have just been appointed Concertmaster for the beginner orchestra. I'm halfway through the Suzuki books and in the advanced group for lessons. My most recent piece is Haydn Concerto #2 in G Major. I really like the piece for its mood changes. The cadenza section at the end is really hard, but it's a nice piece. I'm currently working on Bach's Concerto in A minor.

My teacher, Miss Khrystyne, is arranging performance and masterclass tours for her intermediate and advanced groups. I am in her advanced group and we have been preparing a lot of music for the tour. 

Previously, this campaign was to support a violin tour in Italy. However, my teacher has had to change our destination. The trip to Italy will be postponed and we will be doing a domestic tour this time. We will most likely go to either Boston or California. If we go to California we will get to perform in the Walt Disney Concert Hall!

I am raising money for this trip and continuing to save for future violin tours. The money will be used for airfare, hotel, transportation, performance tours, and tours between performance destinations.

The trip will be in June 2018.

I am really excited about getting to perform in so many neat places. I'm also excited about getting to go to master classes and getting feedback from professional violinists. I love to learn and I'm excited that there will be so many new things to learn and music to share! 

I will be super-extremely thankful to all the people who donate to this opportunity for me to grow as a musician.
