Maira's Medical Care
Donation protected
Hi friends and family of Maira. I am trying to help Maira raise money to help her and her family in their time of financial need.
Maira had a hysterectomy in mid-July and was off work for a few weeks for recovery. After returning to work, Maira had some very unexpected complications from that surgery and was re-admitted into the hospital where she had emergency surgery and 2 blood transfusions. Because of this huge setback, Maira will be out of work for an additional 2-3weeks, minimum.
Maira has exhausted all of her PTO time off at work as of today but still has bills to pay and an insurance premium to meet through her employer. Finances don't seem to stop or slow down and allow one to heal...those pesky bills...
On a personal note, I can attest to the fact that Maira is one of the most generous and giving person I have ever met. She would literally give her shirt off her back to anyone who needed it and has done so much for so many. She bends over backwards to make sure everyone is taken care of, sometimes at the expense of taking care of herself. I was visiting with her in the hospital today and could see the stress this is putting on her and I would love to just ask that anyone who can donate even $10 to help would do so.
I know help is shown in so many ways and that not everyone can donate financially. I know she appreciate the meals that are coiming for family and would appreciate help cleaning her house or other small chores. So if you are not in a position to donate financially, there are other ways as well! If you are able to donate financially, that would be appreciated beyond words. I know it is hard for her to ask for help, which is why I am setting up this account.
This means so much to me, personally, because Maira is just a gift from God. She is an amazing mother to her son and the kids we share; she is a devoted wife; she is a well respected VP of her company; she is a Faith Leader in her Ministry; she is a true friend to those of us who know her; and she is simply Amazing.
Thank you for your generosity!
