Donate to help feed the abandoned Bayhurst ponies!

A huge thankyou to everyone for your kind donations! We are pleased to report that The Bayhurst Ponies have now been successfully rescued by World Horse Welfare with the aid of LBH. All remaining donations will be transferred over to World Horse Welfare.

Harefield Horses is a small group of locals dedicated to protecting and caring for abandoned and neglected horses and ponies throughout Harefield and surrounding areas.

There has been three ponies left abandoned in Bayhurst Woods. We have affectionately named them Pumpkin, Sugar and Yogi.

Sugar, in particular has been left in a sorry state with her ribs, hips and spine on show.

The three ponies require weekly bales of hay to keep them fed throughout the harsh and cold winter months. We are currently paying £6 for a bale.

Our group has been vigorously helping to care for these horses using our own funds however as the weather gets colder, the ponies are needing more food and we cannot continue to fund them from our own pocket.

Any donations are greatly appreciated and we would like to take this opportunity to thank the local community for all of their support for our group and the ponies we look after.
