Help Mr. Ford - Great Flood of 2016
Donation protected
Thursday, August 11, 2016 began like many other days in Baton Rouge, LA - rain. But this prolonged rainstorm had caused unprecedented damage, flooding in areas that have never flooded. One of those areas is where my dad, Arthur Ford Sr., lives. Daddy is a retired postal worker, a 100% disabled Veteran and has diabetes and PTSD from his time in the army. On Friday, he only had 10 minutes to evacuate from his apartment before the flood waters came.

He lives on the first floor of his apartment and has lost everything. He thought he had renters' insurance, but it lapsed last October, so now he has to replace everything on his own.

Everyone who knows my dad know how much fun he is, how he loves to tell funny stories, and how much he LOVES to cook. And everyone knows how he'd help out anyone who needs it. So please pay it forward and help my dad out. We'll be forever grateful!
His loving baby daughter,
Danielle
