And if justice cannot be done....I could really use some help.
As many of you know I throw parties for a living and when my speakers were stolen out of my storage unit 2 months ago, I rolled with the punches. When those speakers needed to be repaired after only 2 uses I grumbled but paid the $250 bucks to have them fixed. But this morning, after picking up the fixed speakers, I had to park in a downtown parking lot... and in under an hour they were stolen from my vehicle!
With your help I can get them replaced before the next scheduled event on Aug 27th.
So for all of you out there who have had your car broken into, had your things stolen or just had your window bashed in...I make you a promise. If you guys can help me get these speakers replaced I will throw one hell of a party and it will be FREE FOR EVERYONE!
San francisco is my hometown and if there is one thing I know....there is not much that this city can't fix with a little help from our friends, and one hell of a party.

I have to stop for a second and just say that I am incredibly blown away.
Yesterday, when all the sound equipment I use for throwing events was stolen (again) I was pretty upset and, while I won't print all the things I said, one of them was, "you do everything right and you can just never get a break cause the world will slap you down."
I was feeling beaten and busted.
I created the Go Fund Me mostly because I had no idea what else to do. I had no idea the kind of support I was about to receive.
The number of people who have shared and reposted this truly blew me away, and the support I have gotten has really...well it has really made me feel incredibly thankful and tremendously lucky.
I have said before that "San Francisco takes care of its own," but this has shown more than that. It just shows me how wrong I was. Not only do I get lots of breaks (acknowledge my privilege) but that I am so Lucky to have you all in my life.
