Joel's Mother's Funeral Expenses

Please help us in fundraising to cover the funeral expenses of Lupita Gonzalez, Joel Govea's mother who died as a result of a murder late Sunday, August 14, 2016. Being a single mother, she leaves behind Joel, our good friend, and 7 other children, the youngest being 8, 14 and 17. Joel Govea (Brother of Gamma Zeta Alpha, Gamma Chapter, Fall 15), is an undergraduate college student at UC Berkeley. This unexpected tragedy presents a very difficult time for Joel and his family and we would like to be able to alleviate them of the financial burden that comes with this devastating loss of their mother and provider. The money will be used to help alleviate the financial costs associated with her funeral. Please help this family as best as you can. They are going through an unbearable, heart wrenching time as they mourn the loss of their mother, a pain no child or family should have to endure.
