Help rebuild Brian and Jill's Home

My name is Mike Hutton. I had the privledge of meeting the Higginbotham's on a recent trip to Florida. I noticed Brian in the pool wearing a Thin Blue Line bracelet and I got to talking with him and his wife Jill. I found out that Brian is a Sargeant with the Baton Rouge Police Department and he was on vacation with his family just days after his department had dealt with the murder of three of their own and the shooting of three others.

Jill talked about how great Brian had been throughout the ordeal and how no matter what he had always been there to provide for their family. She talked about how Brian had built their home and worked as much overtime as possible to ensure their family was thriving.

Earlier this week Jill began posting pictures of flooding from a bad storm that was creeping up on their home. As of yesterday I learned that their beautiful home and a lot of their beloved possessions were underwater (as you can see from the picture). Thankfully Jill, Brian and their two sons are safe, but as soon as the water recedes they will need to repair and/or rebuild their home and try to replace their possessions. 

I have learned that everything from Brians squad car, his father's baseball card collections, to their children's toys and most anything that couldn't be carried on their backs is potentially destoryed. 

This money will be 100% given to the Higginbotham family to do with as they see fit to get their lives back together. Please help me give back to a family that gives so much to their community without ever asking for anything in return.
