Hello to family and friends of Paul Hernandez. Paul is very thankful for all the emotional and financial support you have given him thus far. As everyone knows, Paul is always smiling and looking toward the bright side of things making us feel as though everything is ok. Unfortunately, this is not always the case for the Hernandez household. Currently, Paul's health conditions have worsened and he has had to have more extensive surgeries due to the cancer spreading to other organs. He has also been in a lot of pain due to swollen lymph glands and the operations he has had over the recent weeks. Paul has had to stop working for an unknown amount of time and this is causing financial hardship on their household. Calysta is almost finished with her schooling, but due to these events she has had to take a part time job on top of schooling and her responsibilities at home at well. The hospital bills have been adding up and the mortgage payments falling behind with no light at the end of the tunnel.

The last time we opened a gofundme for Paul, the amount of money we raised was quite humbling. The amount of people with words of  encouragement and the very generous donations given were a testament to how wonderful of a person Paul really is. Paul has impacted so many of us through the years, whether it be by making us smile, giving us sensible fatherly advise, or telling amazing stories of his youth and people he has met throughout his life. Paul is the guy we go to for a good conversation. He would listen attentively and make no judgement and patiently give us his advice if we were seeking it. Not saying he was always right, but he knows what to say to make us feel better in times of need. Now it is our turn.

Some of you may have already given to Paul's cause in the past, but he is now in more need of help than he was before. Their house is possibly going into foreclosure, the hospital bills are more than they can afford, and food funds are very limited. This gofundme will take some of the monetary stress off their shoulders so that Paul can focus on healing and recovery.
