I always see these accounts created but never in a million years did I think that my family & I would need the same assistance.

My husband Brian & I owned a beautiful home in Denham Springs, LA, where we have raised our four loves of our lives, our children. We loved everything about our community and are still trying to stay strong! We have 2 year old twins, 1 boy and 1 girl, in addition to our two precious boys aged 6 & 10.

We have been blessed all around UNTIL mother nature appeared and our entire community was flooded and destroyed. Everything we ever owned, touched, loved, wore, hugged - ALL GONE. The water was to our ceiling. Our precious dog, Beau, is still being searched for as well. We truly have absolutely NOTHING. We've been wearing the same clothes since Friday and thankfully we have had family/friends to be able to temporarily assist us.

I don't know where to begin or quite what to do as I still am at a loss for words. I just want to thank everyone in advance for anything that you may provide. We are also so very appreciative and thankful of everyone's prayers and words of encoragement.

Trying to stay strong for my babies and I feel that being a strong mom also means having to ask for help when it's needed. We have always been the family to help others and it is amazing how God can turn things around and have to humble me to ask for the same.

Again, we have absolutely nothing. Everything was destroyed. We cannot thank you all enough. From the bottom of our hearts, the Guthrie Family appreciates you all. We have faith that we will be able to restore a life for our children and bless all of you that aid us in this horrific process.
