Whitehead Family-LA Flooding Victim

My name is Will Knecht and I live in Wilmington, NC.  For many years, our good friends the Whitehead family ministered at our local church in the children's ministry.  I had the pleasure of serving alongside them for many of those years.  Now, they have lost literally everything in the historic flooding in Louisiana.
 No one in the area, including the Whitehead's, had flood insurance, so they are starting literally from scratch.  All they have left are two very small bags of clothing.  Their youngest son, John, leaves for LSU next week with no bed, no clothes, no shoes, no computer, no books, etc.

Funds raised will go directlyto the Whitehead's to meet their most basic needs and are needed immediately. They need:  a place to live, clothes, food, furniture, and much more...the big and little things you and I take for granted each day.  Darrell is the only one who has access to the funds as he is set up in the campaign to receive them directly...so this is the quickest way to get those funds to them.

This is an amazing family and they have ministered to hundreds/thousands of families in children's and senior adult ministeries in churches in LA, AL, and NC  for so many years.  In their time of need I"m praying that we can minister to them and help them get back on their feet.
