We were blessed with another precious gift from God, our baby girl Liana.
At 22 weeks the doctors gave us the most unpredictable news, Liana had a heart block and according to the doctors, it's a permanent heart block. The doctors didn't assure if Liana would make through the pregnancy, consequently weekly screening with different doctors needed to be done. Week after week we had a least one doctors' visit, sometimes twice or three times, and every visit was tough and brought tears to our eyes. On three different occasions with different doctors we were asked/offer the option to "terminate" the pregnancy, but this was never an option for us. You cannot imagine the level of stress we were going through. We trusted God, whatever the outcome may be.
Thanks God Liana made to 36 weeks, she was born on March 30th 2016 with 5 lbs and stayed in NICU for 12 days until she had to go through surgery to place the pace maker in her heart. It was the most nerve-racking day of our lives but we had a fighter. The surgery was a success and she stayed at the PICU for another 4 days, then we were able to take her home. We still have a long road in front of us, Liana has monthly check-ups but she continues to do well, growing strong.
Currently we have hospital/surgery bills that we need to take care but unfortunately we have been struggling financially. We are asking you guys to help with anything you can, any amount will help so we may continue to take care of Liana. This support does not count for any of the expenses we already had or for the ones to come.
Please also pray that God may give us wisdom as we continued to deal with Liana's health and for God's purpose in Liana's life. We know that nothing is impossible for our powerful God, creator of heaven
and earth.
