Joey & Amanda

On August 14, 2016 @ 2:35 PM, Joey & Amanda were involved in a life changing car accident on their way home from visiting family in Corpus Christi, TX. They were traveling N. on Highway 59 when an oncoming truck passed through a stop sign, hitting the passenger side of the vehicle, causing them to do multiple spins which then led to them landing in the median of the highway. Amanda was rushed to Citizens Hospital in Victoria TX, for her injuries. Joey was air lifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital in a more serious condition. He was then rushed into an emergency surgery that lasted six hours. This being one of the many necessary surgeries he will have to undergo to reconstruct his facial structure. Amanda was quickly examined and released with multiple fractured bones, a broken elbow, and severe bruising to her body. She was quickly rushed back to Houston, to be by Joey’s side.  We set this page up to help raise donations for Amanda and Joey in their time of need. They have two beautiful boys, 9 and 6 years old. At this point they will be unable to return to work for an unexpected amount of time due to this uneventful event. They will need all the help and prayers they can get.
