Benefit 4 Bob Mohr - Medical Fund

Donation protected
Our names are Kevin and Sara Skinner. Bob Mohr and his family are dear friends of ours. We are the proud godparents of their 2 precious boys.

On August 5th, 2016, Bob was riding a tractor and pulling another to the town of Glidden. The tractors were to be ridden in the Glidden Fun Day Parade the next day. While coming home, Bob was hit from behind by a truck, the tractors separated, Bob was thrown from the tractor, and run over.  Bob was trapped under the truck and it took mechanical means to free him.

Bob was taken to St. Anthony Hospital and then by life flight to the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Bob is currently in the Intensive Care Burn Unit. Bob sustained multiple injuries.  When trapped under the truck, Bob was burned by the exhaust system and dripping diesel fuel.  He received burns across his chest and left thigh area.  He sustained a concussion and severe road rash across the head and forehead. His left wrist and hip were dislocated. He also has major injury to his entire left leg and ankle. Bob's left front calf absorbed deisel fuel through the tissue and muscle.

Bob has had several surgeries already. The first set of skin grafts were completed using cadaver skin. His left wrist has been pinned. He has had plastic surgery to fix the road rash to the head. The major concern at this time is the left front calf.  The front tissue and muscle have been removed to the bone and a wound vac has been placed. Surgeons are working diligently to preserve the leg.

Bob will undergo more surgery on August 16th to check on the status of his left leg. They will also be grafting the 2nd set of skin grafts. This will be extremely painful as this graft will use Bob's own skin for the grafting.

The bills are starting to come in. Any money donated will be used to pay for the life flight ride, medical bills, lost wages, travel to and from Nebraska, meals, etc... Bob's wife, Tammy, will be returning to work and splitting her time between teaching and caring for Bob and their 2 young sons.

Any donation is greatly appreciated. We understand not everyone can donate financially and we appreciate you just sharing this gofundme effort with others. Most importantly, please continue to keep the Mohr Family in your prayers.

Bob and Tammy greatly appreciate the kindnesses and caring shown to them and their sons this last week.

We will also be planning a fall fundraiser in the local area. If anyone would like to assist by volunteering their time, donating supplies, or donating an item for a silent auction, please contact Sara Skinner at [email redacted]

We thank you all,

The Family and Friends of Bobby Mohr
