I am writing on behalf of my brother and sister-in-law, Nate and Shawna, and their two children. Due to the Baton Rouge floods they have lost everything they  own including Nate's work truck, Sage's car, clothes, furniture and keepsakes. Unfortunately, they found out their insurance did not include flood damage and all vehicles only had liability insurance.  Nate installs flooring for a living through Sherwin Williams and will be unable to do so with he current weather conditions and the loss of his work truck, limiting any incoming income.

They are currently in a shelter in Baton Rouge, LA. They anticipate the weather will be bad for the next week, all hotels are booked. We are asking for any kind of help possible to assist them with getting clothes, food and shelter for the next few weeks and to assist them in relocating permanently.  Thank you to all that can assist in anyway and we truly appreciate your kindness during this very difficult and scary time for his family.
