Assistance for Anthony

This is Anthony. Our family of six relocated to Craig, Colorado from Phenix City, Alabama in June to accept our first pastorate position at Ridgeview Church of God. We knew the timing of the calling was perfect. On July 5th, Anthony was life-flighted to Children's Hospital of Colorado in Denver with four large brain abscesses. Truly, God brought us to one of the highest ranked hospitals in the country. The bacterias found throughout his body are strep anginosus and staph. With the strep anginosus in particular, his blood and bones have become infected, as well as his heart, liver, and gallbladder. Because of the treatment, he is now experiencing a massive drug reaction. He barely talks and cannot move. We understand that there are people from all over the country praying and interceding on his behalf. He has made so much progress, but he continues to have set backs. Anthony is in the PICU for the forth time since his original admission. Recently, his blood pressure plummeted while on a ventilator and he was fighting for his life. This 9 year old boy has been through more than most people do in their entire lives. We have had amazing support and encouragement from many friends, family, and loving people, which we have not had the privilege of meeting. God has laid it on people's hearts to give monetary blessings to us. We are very grateful. A few others have offered to set up a gofundme for us, as well. As time goes on and we realize the length of his recovery will be great, we are opening this account to allow anyone who feels led the opportunity to give. Prayers are most important.
