Funeral expenses for Amber Delage

I have never created a GoFundMe page before, but felt compelled to do so after my dear friend Kathy Kelly lost her beloved 29 year old daughter Amber Delage to a heroin overdose. Amber was trying desperately to stay clean and was successful for 6 months, when she fell victim to its intense and vicious draw and relapsed, which took her life on August 1st, 2016. At the time while Amber was recovering, she wasn't working, wasn't married and had no assets, life insurance or significant savings.

My dear friend Kathy has been saddled with the financial burden of the funeral expenses, for which she is unable to afford without help. I have known Kathy for at least 23 years and one of the most amazing things about her is that she is one of the hardest working people I have ever known, oftentimes working 2 or 3 jobs at any given time to keep a roof over her children's head and food on the table. In addition, for the past 10 years, she has been raising one of her own grandchildren.

Losing a daughter like this is hard enough, but to have to worry about this financial burden is almost too much to bear. If there is anything you can do to help offset these costs for her, it would be so genuinely appreciated. Any excess funds above and beyond the funeral expenses will be put into an account for Amber's son Jackson (6 yrs) and daughter Ryan (22 months).
