My name is Dave Santos and I am starting this campaign for my brother Brian and his family. I currently reside in Royersford, PA and can only help my brother from a distance.  Brian, his fiancee Heather, and her 9 yr old son Alec are now homeless. If you have seen the recent news reports about the flooding in Louisiana, he was directly in the middle of the worst flooding. My brother resided in Livingston Parish which had over 1000 homes destroyed by flooding, his included. The photo of their house shows the water level before they were forced to evacuate.  Heather reported today that both cars are submerged under water and the refrigerator is floating through the house. This was determined when they went back by boat to assess the damage. What makes this situation worse is that Brian, Heather, and Alec recently moved into the house after several years of saving money to achieve their dream of living in an actual house.  All of their sacrifice was washed away by Mother Nature. 
I am hoping this fund will provide a beginning for them to start over by raising enough money to begin this process. Specifically , I hope funds are raised to secure  new housing for them, supply furniture and household items for this new residence, and provide assistance toward the purchase of new vehicles for them.It is not fair and my heart breaks every time I think of my future nephew not sleeping in his own room and bed. 
I will be extremely grateful for any assistance provided to help Brian and his family get back on their feet. I will do my best to pay it forward for each act of kindness received.
