With heavy hearts, we share the heartbreaking loss of our beloved Damon.

If you knew Damon, you probably remember his laugh first. The kind that filled a room and made everyone else laugh with him. You remember the way he walked into places with an energy that instantly lifted the atmosphere, how conversations seemed easier around him, and how complete strangers somehow became friends by the end of the night. Damon had a presence that people were naturally drawn to warm, genuine, light hearted, and unforgettable.

He was the type of person who made people feel seen. Whether you knew him for years or only met him once, Damon had a way of making you feel important. He carried himself with kindness, never judgment, and always looked for the good in others. His faith in God guided the way he loved people, and he gave that love freely through encouragement, laughter, loyalty, and compassion. Damon was also a peacemaker, someone who naturally brought calm, understanding, and unity wherever he went.

Music was one of Damon’s greatest passions and one of the purest expressions of who he was. He formed a music group called The League with some of his closest friends, where he wrote and performed his own music. Damon was a talented lyricist whose creativity and emotion could be felt through every word he wrote. He loved putting on a show not for attention, but because he genuinely loved bringing people together, creating memories, and making people feel something. Whether it was music playing in the background, late nights laughing with friends, freestyling, or simply being surrounded by the people he loved, Damon made moments feel alive.

He was also deeply committed to becoming the best version of himself. He pushed himself physically, mentally, and spiritually, always striving for growth while still carrying humility and a heart for others. No matter what he was going through, he still found ways to encourage the people around him.

More than anything, Damon loved his family deeply. He was a beloved son, brother, and friend whose absence leaves an unimaginable emptiness in the lives of so many. The amount of love being poured out for him is a reflection of the kind of man he was and the impact he made during his time here.
