Our names are Mike and Eve Lynn Clawson. Our close friends, John and Michelle Ahlm, are currently in need of some financial support.
A few weeks ago, John was diagnosed with a brain mass. On 8/10/16, the Ahlm's got an urgent call to leave for Phoenix for immediate surgery. The mass was the size of a golf ball and the neurosurgeon stated this is one of the largest masses he's ever seen. He also said it is amazing that John was not in a coma due to the mass size.
On 8/12/16, John went into surgery to have the mass removed. After a lengthy surgery, the surgeon was able to remove 90% of the mass. The good news, the tests results showed no cancer. John will remain in ICU for 4 days and then will have to stay in Phoenix for 10 days for follow ups.
Once John is cleared to return to Farmington, he will require 6 months of rehabilitation. As you can imagine, this will put a huge financial strain on the family. His wife, Michelle, will need to take time off of work to care for John.
John recently retired as a Farmington Police Officer. He served his community for 20 years. Those of you that know John are aware of the health issues he's been struggling with. The neurosurgeon believes the mass may have contributed to many of his ailments.
The Ahlms have been our close friends for a number of years. Mike served with John on the police department for 10 years. John has always been there when we've needed him and has never hesitated from helping others. Let's show our support by helping John, Michelle, Justin, and Ella. Any donation would be greatly appreciated!
