Thank you to all for your generosity, we reached our first goal of getting Kim home for Christmas. For those that are seeing this for the first time, I'll bring you up to speed. 

Kim was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. After what was thought to be a successful mastectomy, the cancer has returned. It has spread to her bones and lungs. Kim is a mother of 3 children, as well as a hardworking woman. She has had to give up her jobs of teaching at the University of Utah and her radio show at BYU. Kim's dear husband Chad, a Utah County sheriff, is doing his best to balance caring for Kim and providing for the family. 

Our hope is to raise additional funds for the family to help cover costs of living. As Kim was a part of the monthly family income, her not working is a financial hardship itself. Add to that all of the medical bills, and the financial mountain of stress is a big one. With a new deductible starting in 2017, there will be an even bigger financial burden placed on the family.
