My best girlfriend Lisa Chupurdy and co worker who was diagnosed with early uterine cancer 11/22. Then referred to an oncologist surgeon 2 weeks later. Radical hysterectomy 5 weeks later. Originally told stage ll grade 2 tumor. Might need some radiation. 3 1/2 months later figured out misdiagnosed. Stage lV grade 3 tumor. Originated in uterus spread to cervix, 4 lymph nodes in abdomen and 20 nodules in lungs. All the same cancer. Protocol CT scan would have told us that a long time ago.

She worked until 2 days before surgery through the pain. Surgery Jan. 17, 2023.

She leads a very healthy lifestyle so everyone was shocked when she was first diagnosed. She also doesn’t fall under any of the usual risk factors for uterine cancer.

Lisa's last day worked was Jan. 14th, 2023. She needed 6 weeks to recover from her surgery. Now everything is changed with real diagnoses. Entirely new treatment plan now. Lisa needs help with medical bills, plus all other bills as she can not return to work yet.

Lisa is trying to stay positive. It's hard. To be told you have cancer is very shocking news. Months later realize you were not diagnosed right in the beginning. She dislikes receiving and delivering this news to family and friends. Her son is very scared and upset about his mom's diagnosis. She is single. No option of spouse to pick up the weight while she is fighting for her life.

Lisa wants to fight with all her might to live. She doesn't want to miss out on becoming a grandmother some day or have to re home her 2 dogs and birdie. We are asking for your help with bills so she only has to focus on her fight. Not worry about bills.

She is already out of pocket over $11,000 with insurance deductible, out of pocket and co pays. Also no money coming in, only going out. Lisa hade some help from some co workers and members at golf club she works at. That was to help while recovering from surgery. Gone Whole new situation, much more serious now. From a battle to a full war.
