EduCare for Anti 2019-nCoV

Dear friends and members from schools, education industries, and communities,

Martin Luther King, Jr. once said, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, what are you doing for others?” On the same day for commemorating this great activist, January 20th, 2020, Chinese President Xi made an open talk on 2019-nCoV in Wuhan and later the Wuhan City announced the emergency status.

Although the whole Chinese people are bonding together to flight for the 2019-nCoV battle, it is still hard to feed the medical need for such a huge population. There is a severe shortage of medical supplies, for example N95 masks, disposable medical masks, goggles and medical suits. Many hospitals in Hubei Province and other nearby cities have openly asked for immediate help through unofficial channels. Although many companies and community groups in China and the US have extended help to Hubei in recent days, the demand for medical supplies has not been fully met yet.

The situation is the same in the U.S. since the outbreak in March. Many frontier workers need support, schools are reopening, and many nursing homes also need so much support from the society. We want to support the U.S. domestic fighters as much as we can.

As an organization serving students, families, and professionals in education for both US and China, USA-China Sister School Association (U.S.S.A) with an operational team from Walnut Bond Education and US school representatives now call on our members and friends to support fundraising for medical supplies, basic necessities, and quality healthcare for heavily impacted area in both countries.

Thankfully, we all have the power to do something and make a difference. Here at GoFundMe, we're empowering individuals, organizations, and communities to step up in the face of the COVID-19 outbreak and help those who need it most.

Therefore, U.S.S.A is now initiating this fundraising event through GoFundMe for everyone who cares and who would like to contribute to the shared future of mankind, in which we will collect donations from individuals and groups who want to help and use them for the acquisition of supplies.

Our proposal for purchasing is mainly focusing on medical and non-medical supplies. Our medical supplies will deliver to contactor hospitals in China, local nursing homes in the U.S, and reopening schools in the U.S.

If you are willing to donate materials to assigned hospitals or organizations, you might contact our team staff for hospital lists and required forms. We will ensure that all donations arrive at the targeted recipients and your warm care is delivered in an efficient and effective way. All details about the received funds and expenses in the fundraising process will be fully disclosed through the Walnut Bond Education website: www.walnutbond.org, EduCare WeChat groups and We-media channel Sharpsays through Wechat Public Platform as soon as possible. U.S.S.A will provide a receipt to all donors as a proof for tax deduction if required.

From December last year, we get asked a lot whether we're still optimistic about this 2019-nCoV battle. We will answer ABSOLUTELY. We have many more people who stand with us and we are caring about the global community. For education insiders, we are empowering our next generation to voice up, care for others and give back to society. There are people devoting their ideas, their resources, and even their lives to solving them.

For the world, when we're feeling overwhelmed by negative headlines, we need to know that none of us has the right to sit back and expect that the world is going to keep getting better. Indeed, we are equipping with a sense of responsibility to do everything we can to push it in that direction. In that way, we've found that optimism is real and push the idea into action. And like the letter from Gates Foundation said, the more optimists there are working for a better future, the more reasons there are to be optimistic.
