FALLEN NOT FORGOTTEN
Fallen Not Forgotten, Inc. was founded in October of 2012. Since that time we have been able to successfully raise enough funds to establish several college scholarship opportunities for children of fallen service members. In 2014, with a heavy heart for a fallen friend, WE (with everyone) came together to honor the life of Gunnery Sergeant (ret) Moncie Johns – a man that had served his country in every clime and place as well as a former supporter of Fallen Not Forgotten, Inc. Through your efforts we were able to raise enough funds to pay all freshman year tuition expenses for his oldest daughter Haley. At this time, Fallen Not Forgotten asks for your continued support and celebration of Moncie’s life by helping to do the same for his youngest daughter Madison.
COLLEGE FOR MADISON
Recently Fallen Not Forgotten, Inc received a message from Mrs. Angela DeLage, the primary caregiver for Madison since the age of 12, highlighting the amount of dedication and hard work Madison has been putting forth in order to attend college next year. Despite working all summer, it appears as though Maddy has experienced some financial set backs that have significantly depleted funds originally intended to cover college expenses.
Maddy’s current plan is to attend a local community college for the first two years to address general education requirements and later transfer to a larger university to obtain a degree in education. After speaking with Mrs. DeLage, it was identified that WE as a community could easily come together again and assist this young lady with her first year of college if we were all to pitch in.
HOW CAN YOU HELP
Fallen Not Forgotten asks that you contribute any amount that you can spare to make this goal happen – it is really that simple. So forgo your specialty drink at the local coffee shop, skip going out to lunch, empty out that change jar that you’ve been stowing away, or any other creative way you can come up with to make this happen!
Nothing fancy…no gimmicks…just you the friends and family of Moncie and Fallen Not Forgotten working together to remind Maddy that we have not forgotten her and appreciate her sharing her father with us throughout her life.
If you can’t afford a financial contribution at this time there are other ways you can help. For example simply getting the word out via social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, smoke signals, courier pigeons, or any other way that people may connect with us.

SPECIAL NOTE FROM THE PRESIDENT OF FALLEN NOT FORGOTTEN, INC:
I am an active duty service member that has not forgotten the sacrifices paid by our service members overseas as well as their families at home. I, like many of you, have experienced the loss of many friends throughout my career and know in my heart that these are not “someone else’s kids” …these are “our” sons and daughters and they deserve our help to ensure they are well taken care of.
Fallen Not Forgotten, Inc will distribute the funds directly to the school that Madison is scheduled to attend. To ensure that Madison remains dedicated, she will be required to maintain a minimum of a 2.8 GPA throughout the first semester to receive any funds available to assist with her second semester of school. If for any reason Madison elects to discontinue attending college prior to the start of the second semester, at that time all remaining contributions will be given to another deserving gold star child.
