Ok, so I never thought I would have to do something like this, but myself and girlfriend of 4.5 years, Layna may, are struggling with how to recover from the flooding of our home.
As of yesterday, August 12, 2016, we have received over a foot and a half of water in our house and rising. We have literally lost everything, and our insurance doesn't cover flood. I've made this page to try and fund raise money just to replace what we have.
This is Laynas last year in school to be a teacher, and I am trying to get us back on track as soon as possible we we can rent a new place, and get some clothes, and personal items for her that she will need to teach in.
Most of the furniture in my house I still pay monthly for, and I have no idea what do do now that I don't have these things anymore, but will still pay the bill for.
This money will be used to somewhat replace what we had, and get us on our feet again. Both of our cars are underwater, and we are desperate to find a way to move forward. Thank you to whoever can help make a difference for myself and Layna, and if we get enough to replace what we have, and extra that we receive I vow to give to those in our neighborhood, Highland Ridge, to help with items they may need like pet food, cleanup crews, etc. thank you so much!!!
