My name is Haider Gillani and I am doing a fundraiser for my beloved Grandfather Sayyid Tasir Haider Shah who has suffered from a catastrophic brain haemorrhage whilst travelling for Umrah to Saudi Arabia via Turkey.

After visiting the tomb of Hazrat Abu Ayub Ansari ra they returned to their hotel made ghusal (bath) and took their Ihram in preparation for the next leg of their journey to Umrah and were preparing to leave for the airport.

A sudden severe headache occurred and my grandfather read the declaration of faith before entering into a coma.

He has had to undergo an emergency craniotomy- decompression surgery of the brain in Istanbul and admitted into ICU.

This has been a testing time for all the family as they have also had to endure an earthquake 6.2 on the richter scale with complete patience and uncertainty.
