Hi, my name is Jeri Yeager. I have known Becky for over 20 years, twelve of which we worked closely together in a Special Education classrooom. She was always there for me and all the students then and now and has always been there for her colleagues, friends, and family! Now it's our turn to be there for Becky!
Becky lost her mom just 8 months ago to this very same disease and it came as an immense shock to her and her family to be diagnosed with ovarian cancer herself! As Becky began trying to take in first the diagnosis, then the impact it would have at work and on her family, the financial burden hit! She found herself faced with mounting medical expenses, insurance costs, and a host of personal expenses. It's been overwhelming!
With your donation Becky can receive pre-made organic dishes, help with medical and insurance expenses, medications, massage and acupuncture (recommended by her doctors) and so many more things I know she has not yet even considered!
Becky's family have been incredibly supportive - her boys are awesome! A family member will be traveling from out-of-state to be with her as she goes through each of the intensive chemo treatments. To keep her focused on staying healthy and healing she will be away from work at least through winter break. Your love, support, and financial assistance will be needed for some time to come!
What's most important to Becky is that all of you are well and having FUN...so like her! And she surely does not want to burden anyone - silly girl - she could never be a burden!
