I am writing this for our son.  

Carl Minick was injured in a car accident in Bryant Arkansas on August 6, 2016..  He has multiple facial fractureshe lost his right eye.  His L4 is also fractured in his back.  He has had one eye surgery already, and is going to have a surgery this week to remove the damaged eye.  As some healing occurs and the swelling goes down, he will have the facial fractures repaired, and will be fitted with an artificial eye.  

He has only been working at the job he loves for a short time, and does not have any short term disability.  There are going to be lots of expenses, some known at this time, and many will come up as he progresses through this.  There are immediate needs now.  It will be months before he can go back to work.  

Carl is married to Amanda Minick, and they have two children at home.
