Music Tutorial Production Equipment

My name is J.Jay Berthume - I am a professional composer for both media and the concert hall. I've been creating free YouTube video tutorials over the past four years, unveiling subjects such as orchestration, counterpoint, harmony, sampling, and melody writing with a depth and practical candidness not found elsewhere for free. Until now, I’ve been recording my computer screen with my iPhone, using my poor built-in screen mic, and creating tutorials infrequently.

My channel has become very popular for up and coming composers, with well over 4,000 subscribers, and 300,000 views. Since my following is sizable, I decided it is time to upgrade my equipment and level of professionalism. However, being a college student and heavily involved in a new startup company, I don’t have the immediate funds to invest in a decent camera, screen capture software, microphone, etc. 

I considered offering paid tutorials, but decided against it - my goal from the beginning has been to provide free resources and knowledge that everyone can use, and I am determined to keep it that way.  It will only take 100 people donating  $20 to meet our goal.
