My quest is to become a VITA™ Love, Sex, and Relationship Coach. In January 2022, I will be embarking on a year-long, expert-level training programme and would absolutely love to give you a sneak peek into the course content.

 

I’ll tell you my story, the reasons why I feel this work is so important, and my vision for the future. ABOUT ME

 

My personal story over the past few years is a tale of darkness and light, a journey of life-death-rebirth, like a caterpillar transforming into a butterfly within the chrysalis.

 

In 2017, my caterpillar life began to dissolve. As my 6-year relationship started to break down, I became unwell with a virus, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), and a broken heart. Consequently, my whole life crumbled. I lost my part-time job in a health food shop, my successful career as a Nutritional Therapist, my beautiful home, the ability to support myself financially, and any form of social interaction with friends and family. I was alone and exhausted in bed for 20 hours every day. This lasted for many months. I was severely disabled and barely able to care for my most basic needs. My get-up-and-go had got-up-and-gone! All I could do was survive.

 

The Universe had pulled the rug from underneath me. I was clearly out of alignment with my Truth. I had been living someone else's life and abandoned myself. This was a wake-up call! I gave up my old life in Dorset and relocated to Hertfordshire.

 

 

SPIRITUAL AWAKENING

 

Looking back, I now realise that the events of 2017 were the beginning of a spiritual awakening, which may sound innocuous, but anyone who has experienced it will know otherwise! This is a hero’s journey, an ego death, a dark night of the soul, a metamorphosis, a rebirth. It literally felt like my whole body was being broken down and dissolved from the inside out. The veil of deception (untruths) within me, and in the world, was being removed to reveal TRUTH. This felt extremely painful, emotionally. The only option was to BE with the pain and observe myself. No more running, hiding, distracting, or repeating old patterns of behaviour. The process of doing the deep inner work taught me how to let go, trust, fully surrender, and have faith; to love and accept my whole self; to understand the inner dance of shadow and light, feminine and masculine, humanity and divinity; and to integrate these opposites into my being. My connection to Spirit and Universal forces had been awakened. This was also an initiation by the Goddess. Her whispers grew louder and louder until I couldn’t ignore Her any longer. She was asking me to follow the call of my soul.

 

 

SHINE TRUE™

 

It was during this time that a seed of an idea, the business concept for Shine True™, went “ping!” in my mind. Through patience, tenacity, and gentle nurturing, the seed has sprouted and grown into something beautiful. This guiding light was the thing that carried me through all my darkness, pain, and suffering.

 

The basic concept of Shine True™ is to live authentically from the heart, with a strong connection to Nature and Spirit. It is centred on human relationships – how we relate to Self and Other, how we communicate, how we love, how we mate, and how we enjoy pleasure and intimacy. The Shine True™ process is about discovering the life-force within – the light, the sexual energy, and the force that makes you feel truly alive!

 

Shine True™ has evolved over the past four years through me taking thousands of tiny little baby steps during my illness. I can now see what is required to take Shine True™ to the next level. I have a clear vision for the business and a solid framework for the creation of a 9-month transformational programme. To further progress, I require the guidance of an expert in Love, Sex, and Relationships. Cue Layla Martin and VITA™.

 

 

VITA™ PROGRAMME

 

The VITA™ (Vital and Integrated Tantric Approach) Coaching Programme is a year-long, expert-level, online, professional coaching certification in the realm of Sexuality, Love, and Relationships. The course content is based on the most relevant, up-to-date scientific knowledge in this field as well as ancient tantric practices.

 

Tantra, meaning to 'weave together', stems from the esoteric teachings of Hinduism and Buddhism that developed in India around 5000 years ago. It is a life-embracing philosophy, loosely defined as a path to liberation. Tantra consists of a wide variety of techniques and practices, including breathwork, yoga, and meditation. It is not defined by sexuality alone, although in Western culture, tantric sex has become the focus.

 

Tantra teaches that everything is sacred. Through tantra, we can learn to use our body, mind, and energy system as instruments for awakening. With our presence and awareness, and by applying consciousness to sex, love, and relationships, we can liberate our conditioning, replacing old beliefs with inspiring and empowering new ones, and recognising ourselves as Divine Beings of Truth, Love and Beauty.

 

The VITA™ coaching certification follows a tantric approach. It is not the study of tantra itself.

 

The core values of the programme are that:

 

• Sexuality is beautiful.

• Pure love sustains us.

• Meaningful relationships are necessary for a joyful life.

 

This training requires me to undergo a deeply personal 4-month self-transformation; supports me in learning effective coaching techniques that facilitate lasting transformation for my future clients; and provides the necessary skills to help me develop a sexy, successful, and soulful business. There is an optional live, week-long embodiment retreat in Costa Rica that provides additional tools and experience of tantric techniques.

 

The qualification will allow me to coach individuals, couples, and groups, in person or online, facilitating their unique transformation and allowing heart-to-heart connection with people anywhere in the world.

GOING DEEPER WITH VITA™

 

So what, more specifically, will I be learning over the next year?

 

The year is divided into trimesters. Here are some of the topics we will be covering.

 

Trimester One: Total Self-Transformation

 

 

Trimester Two: Coaching Skills using the VITA™ Method

 

During Trimester Two, I will learn the core coaching skills that assist clients in transforming their sexual and relational patterns in a systemic and lasting way. Using tools such as breathwork, sound, movement, meditation, and energy, it is possible to rewire our neural networks. Moving from a place of pain to pleasure occurs not from trying to be something different, but by gently removing the blockages, fears, and contractions around our sexuality, hearts, and relationships to reveal the wholeness and health that was always there.

 

Business Bootcamp

 

I will learn all the sales, marketing, and business skills necessary to build a thriving and profitable coaching business. By selecting a unique niche, getting clear on branding, finding my authentic voice, and designing coaching packages that are magnetic to clients, I will be able to offer my expertise and gifts to the world.

 

Trimester Three

 

Towards the end of the VITA™ course, I will decide on my niche – the area I’m most passionate about – and choose to become an expert in two of the following areas:

 

 

At the end of the course, there is an additional six months of business and coaching support from the VITA™ team. I also have another full year to complete and submit my coursework assignments. This allows me more time to go at my own pace and to fully honour my process, current health status, and disability.

 

 

WHY AM I INTERESTED IN BECOMING A LOVE, SEX & RELATIONSHIP COACH?

 

As humans, we are desire beings at our core. Our biology was initially wired for pleasure. The life-force – sexual energy – that flows through each one of us, gives us our radiance, vitality, and aliveness. It is our Sovereign Birthright to shine this light into the world – to SHINE TRUE™.

 

This shimmering, primordial, sexual energy that lights us up with life is also the most judged, vilified, and forbidden energy and often lies entangled and buried in wounds, pain, fear, and suffering.

 

Through my personal journey, I know what it feels like to have the life-force absent from my being – dormant, sleeping, hidden, unfelt, repressed; to feel exhausted, in pain, heartbroken, traumatised, abused, depressed, dull, lifeless, lackluster, numb, sexually asleep. I also know what the return of that life-force feels like – ecstatic, vital, zingy, fresh, exciting, sexy, sensual, flirtatious, playful, creative, magical, joyful – and that is the kind of alchemy I would love my clients to experience!

 

I can feel a deep desire within people for intimacy, connection, and love. Their inner child wants to be held. They want to open their hearts and be vulnerable, but there is guilt, shame, trauma, and dysfunction, derived from both personal experience and the messages we receive from culture, religion, the media, and society. Many don’t know how to have a healthy, balanced, conscious relationship. Where is the blueprint for that?

 

As a coach, I want to open up conversations, help people to uncover long-held patterns of behaviour, and discover their unique gifts. I want to dispel myths around sexuality, educate people, empower them, introduce them to pleasure, facilitate the awakening of their life-force so that they can activate their creativity, live a magical and abundant life, radiate their light, their divine essence, and their magnificence! My wish is for people to feel expansive, expressive, ecstatic, joyful, wild, free, and truly ALIVE!

 

I am on that journey. I want it for myself too. I choose to walk the path first and be a way-shower for others.

 

Each one of us is Sovereign, and as such, we are responsible for our own physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and sexual health and wellbeing. Nutrition, yoga, and mindfulness have become mainstream tools for helping us to feel balanced and whole. Building a regular sexual self-care practice is revolutionary, and it is going to be the next expanding interest in our culture, one that we can all participate in!

 

Holistic sex. Sacred sex. Tantra. Beauty. Devotion. Ritual. Self-care. Self-pleasure. Self-love.

 

That is why this work is so important to me.
